Terms of Service

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using buypaint.in, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period.

All product prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are set by individual sellers and may vary.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase from the seller. The order is confirmed once the seller accepts it. Payments are processed securely through our payment partner (Zoho Payments / Razorpay).

buypaint.in acts as a marketplace facilitator. The contract of sale is between you (the buyer) and the seller.

Return and refund policies are subject to the individual seller's policy, which will be displayed at the time of purchase. In general:

• Unopened products may be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to seller approval.
• Tinted/custom-mixed paints are non-returnable unless defective.
• Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after the return is approved.
• Damaged or defective products must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

In case of disputes, buypaint.in will mediate between the buyer and seller in good faith, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Sellers on buypaint.in must be authorized dealers of the paint brands they list. By registering as a seller, you agree to:

• Provide accurate product information, pricing, and inventory
• Fulfil orders in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws including GST regulations
• Maintain valid business licences and brand authorizations
• Accept buypaint.in's commission structure as communicated during onboarding

buypaint.in reserves the right to delist sellers who fail to maintain service quality or violate these terms.

Professional painters listed on buypaint.in are independent contractors, not employees of buypaint.in. By registering as a painter, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your skills and experience
• Maintain professional standards of work
• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Carry your own insurance and licences as required

buypaint.in connects customers with painters but does not guarantee the quality of work. Any dispute regarding painting services is between the customer and the painter.

All content on buypaint.in — including logos, text, graphics, and software — is the property of Quality Colours or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

buypaint.in is a marketplace platform. We do not manufacture, store, or directly sell paint products. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for product defects, delays in delivery, or seller non-performance.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful purposes
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of buypaint.in shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

For consumer disputes, you may also approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission as established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
